Potty training can be a difficult process whether you have a little boy or a little girl. When we were potty training Ashton, we tried everything! From singing potties to books and videos, we even sang him songs and danced around! Anything to catch his attention and convince him to give it a go. Eventually, with a little help from my mom and dad, we were able to get him to use the potty all by himself. I only wish we had something as clever as "Let's Potty! The Potty Training Board Game" when Ashton was younger!
So what exactly is "Let's Potty! The Potty Training Board Game?
Let's Potty is an award winning, fun way to being talking to your child about potty training. According to their website, "Let's Potty is a fun, humorous and light-hearted way to begin the potty training conversation with your child. Regardless of the specific potty training method you use, Let's Potty is the perfect tool to start the process. Designed to play with a parent, caregiver or older sibling, Let's Potty is a positive and encouraging introduction to the basic concepts of potty training and hygiene. Before you know it, your child will be asking to use the potty like a big kid."
How to Play:
"Follow the toilet tissue trail through the house to the potty. Along the way, experience the language, the etiquette, and the pride of making it 'in time.' Your guide will be 'Rolly' the toilet tissue roll!"
- Have each player choose a character
- Place the characters on start
- Decide which player will go first
- Pick a card from the stack and read aloud, following the instructions
- Each player follows the toilet tissue path to reach the potty
How to Win:
"Everybody wins! Everybody plays until they reach the potty!"
We received "Let's Potty" in the mail and even though we're all finished with potty training, Ashton insisted we give it a try. This game included: 1 game board, 4 game pieces and the stack of game cards. We took the game up, set it up and took turns drawing cards. Ashton and I actually had a lot of fun! We decided that this was just too cute to keep to ourselves so we invited a neighbor with a little one just about to start potty training, over, to take part in the fun! My neighbor and her daughter loved this game and she agreed that this was the perfect way to get her daughter excited about using the potty just like her older sister. After our afternoon of potty training fun we invited them back this weekend for another round of Let's Potty.
I highly recommend this award winning product to anyone with a little one that is ready to start potty training. If you're interested in learning more about Let's Potty! simply visit their website.
