My Review
As I mentioned earlier on in this post, life has been a little stressful for me lately so I loved reading this book and finding new ways to help me relax.  One of my favorite chapters talks about peace of mind and finding a sanctuary inside.  With three parrots in my home and a 7 year old, my small home can sound like a zoo and the loud squawking and whining can really take a toll on my nerves after a long day.  It reminded me that peace of mind doesn't just happen when everything in life magically falls in order.  Life is too hectic to wait until the time is right to give yourself a break.  Sometimes you just have to make time for yourself.  I am the type of person that puts myself 110% into everything I do so eventually I become burnt out.  So it's important for me to take some time out for myself.
I also really enjoyed the chapter about learning to say no so you can  have time to say yes.  I am the type of person that has trouble saying no and most of the time, I end of being taken advantage of.  So I've been trying really hard to stop that bad habit.  Now I've learned to pay attention to my feelings and my personal limits.  I'm not going to let people take advantage of me and fill my schedule with helping everyone so I can open up time for those that really matter.
This book is full of useful and very interesting tips and tricks.  It's perfect for moms, moms-to-be, or anyone that you know that could use tips on how to stress less and enjoy life more!
Shopaholic Rating: 5 out of 5 Shopping Bags - This is a book I will read over and over again.  The tips are so useful and it's a great way to relax after a long day.
