Add a Touch of Class to Every Room with Gallery Direct - Review & Giveaway!
Josh and I absolutely love finding unique items to hang up or place around our home. We have some absolutely lovely prints hanging on our walls and all of them come from our friends at Gallery Direct. The reason we've chosen Gallery Direct time after time is because of how impressed we are each time we go through them. I recently got the opportunity to become a Gallery Direct Ambassador and I couldn't be more thrilled. This will be the second time I've had the opportunity to review for them and each time I've found the most unique, eye-catching prints.
What is Gallery Direct?
According to their website, "Ten years ago, Gallery Direct started as a fine art publisher, which is the crucial liaison between artist and audience, responsible for finding talent, capturing the work, recreating and releasing the work as a limited edition. We quickly noticed our artwork being sold, by third parties, for six to nine times what it should. This did not sit well with our founders, two guys with a vision: Fine Art for Everyone! So we began to frame our images, taking our collection and message directly to you, hence the name Gallery Direct. The art world hasn't been the same since we came on the scene."
"Move forward to 2010, still a privately held company, gallerydirect.com is the largest limited edition fine art publisher, printmaker and artisan framer in the world. This means we do it all: we find the artists and the artwork; we market and recreate the art ourselves. There is no middleman in between the artwork and your walls."
Gallery Direct, located near Austin, Texas is committed to "Made in the USA" which resonates in the artists they promote, mouldings they offer, the glass, matboards, paper and canvas they buy. The ink for their uber-green, latex printer is the only thing made out of the U.S., in Puerto Rico, but it's close! They are very proud of creating fine-American artwork for 10 years.
I received a very beautiful and creative medium sized print by one of our favorite Gallery Direct artists, Judy Paul, entitled Walk II. Our print came with a very attractive acrylic frame that makes the print seem to hover over the wall. It's a very unique and beautiful look. I love the colors in this print and one of my favorite parts is a silhouette of a father and son walking, holding hands. This print really fits in with our living room decor and looks stunning across from our previous, larger print from the same artist. As always, we were very impressed by our new print and very excited to show it off! Gallery Direct has some of the most high quality products around - hands down and as always I very highly recommend them to anyone looking to bring some color or class into any room in your home! If you have a favorite picture that you've taken yourself, Gallery Direct is famous for transferring them onto canvas for an artistic and unique look!
Shopaholic Rating: 6 out of 5 Shopping Bags - Style, Sophistication and Quality are only some of the great qualities products from Gallery Direct are known for.
