After All These Years Kids Still Go Nuts for Chuck E. Cheese! - Review

My very first birthday my parents threw a big Chuck E. Cheese birthday bash and everyone had a great time.  I remember going to Chuck E. Cheese several times when I was a kid and every time it was more amazing than the time before.  So I was thrilled when they told me I would be reviewing their new pizza recipe!  I haven't had the opportunity or the money to take Ashton yet so I knew he was going to flip when I told him we'd be going.  But with Josh's unusual work schedule it was very hard to find time to go as a family.  Eventually we decided to go with my dad and since Ashton is very close with my parents he was ecstatic when I told him we'd be going with Papa.
More information on Chuck E. Cheese
According to their website, "Chuck E. Cheese's was founded by Nolan Bushnell (founder of Atari & Pong), in May 1977.  The first Chuck E. Cheese's was located on Winchester Blvd. in San Jose, California.  The concept for Chuck E. Cheese's evolved from Mr. Bushnell's belief that there were not enough places for young people to go to play video games that had a family atmosphere.  Today, our mission is simple, bring families together in a wholesome environment for fun, games and kids.  Chuck E. Cheese's consists of over 500 entertainment centers in 48 states and 6 countries."

My Review
We were given a guest pass that entitled us to 1 free large pizza, 4 free drinks and 30 free tokens to try out their new pizza recipe.  To say we had a blast is a major understatement!  It's been years since I've been to Chuck E. Cheese and I forgot how much fun it was!  We played a bunch of games, ate some great pizza and Chuck E. Cheese himself even came out! He danced with us and then threw up a bunch of tickets in the air so it was a free-for-all, everyone going crazy for tickets.  Ashton, who is not the biggest pizza fan in the world, actually ate and enjoyed Chuck E. Cheese pizza.  That absolutely amazes me since he can't stand pizza any other time!
They had a lot of great games and one thing I loved the most was that each game and ride are only one token each.  We have something like Chuck E. Cheese a little closer to home called Stop & Play and the games and activities there are anywhere from one to three or four tokens just to play for 30 seconds or so.  We'll definitely be coming back very soon!  I very highly recommend Chuck E. Cheese's new pizza recipe for anyone looking for great eats and tons of fun!
