A Dream Come True!

I like to think my readers know me pretty well.  One thing I haven't mentioned very often is the music I listen to.  Our entire family are musical buffs and we always have something playing in the background of our daily activities.

I have always loved all kinds of music but wasn't too fond of hip hop or rap music.  When I met Josh, my stubborn ways were easily swayed after he introduced me to this incredible independent artist, Tech N9ne.  The struggles he's faced and his no nonsense attitude attracts fans from all over the world.

About a month ago I learned that Tech N9ne's music label, Strange Music, was looking for a few blog contributors.  I couldn't resist trying out, though I didn't expect much since some of the others that were trying out had much more experience than I do.  But I always try to stay positive and this time it really paid off!

I worked my butt off for days trying to find someone interesting to interview for my audition and was very lucky to find Dean Ray or as his fans know him best, 2Face.  2Face is a local rapper who has opened for Tech N9ne, House of Pain and others as well as performed at the Gathering of the Juggalos.  I honestly couldn't have found a better person to work with.

After putting the finishing touches on my interview I handed it in and waited.  After about a week I got the news I have been waiting for for months.  I am now a Blog Contributor for Strange Music!!  So if you're a fan or if you've never heard of Tech or the other Strange Music artists be sure to check out their website and be on the look out for my posts coming very soon!

I couldn't have done it without each and every one of you!  My readers are the greatest people in the world and a HUGE inspiration for me!  When I found out, ya'll were the first people I wanted to tell.  This is just the beginning!  I'm reaching for the stars and I couldn't be happier! :)
